About C.R. Dog Rescue
The mission of Costa Rica Dog Rescue & Adoption is to help rescue, care, and place homeless dogs from Costa Rica into permanent loving homes. Based in La Fortuna, Costa Rica, we have rescued over 200 dogs and counting over the past six years. Whether you live in Costa Rica, the United States, or Canada, we have wonderful dogs who are looking for a loving home.
The dogs you see on this website have been rescued from the streets and are eagerly waiting for you to adopt them! When we find these dogs (or they're dropped off on our doorstep), they are usually malnourished, have fleas & ticks and many times other ailments that go along with street living. All it takes is love, food, and some medicine to turn them into healthy, loving dogs. We've found that dogs rescued off the street tend to make the best pets as they are so thankful to be given a second chance.

OUR TEAM
Founder, Scott Alan Bradley
Based in La Fortuna, Costa Rica Dog Rescue was founded by Scott Alan Bradley, who moved from California to Costa Rica nearly 10 years ago. While building several successful businesses, Scott was always finding himself taking in street dogs and caring for them. He founded the organization as a means to help with the overpopulation of street dogs in his community in La Fortuna, and eventually, throughout the entire country. He is recognized not only by locals but people from around the world for his important work with dog rescuing in Costa Rica. With thirteen dogs of his own, Scott is dedicated to helping care for homeless street dogs and find them loving and safe homes. |
